How to only pay for 30% of your training costs
For example; if a course costs £100.00 per person, your training provider will charge you £30.00 and CITB would pay the remaining £70.00.
Therefore, as for the example above, the training provider would issue two invoices – one to the company (£30.00) and one to CITB (£70.00) for the relevant cost per person.
As part of this funding, the employer contacts CITB with their training requirements and CITB will contact the training provider to obtain dates which are available for the training which can be done at your premises or a pre-determined destination (i.e. provider’s training centre).
The CITB need to run checks with both company (levy registered) and training provider (approved by CITB) that all is above board.
We can provide training for the following courses:
3 Day First Aid at Work Initial
2 Day First Aid at Work Refresher
1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work
This is on a first come, first served basis as funding can be withdrawn by the CITB at any time. Below is a copy of CITB’s disclaimer.
CITB’S Disclaimer:

This Policy and the requirements specific to each grant type set out the principles and criteria on which grant may be available and are not intended to be (nor will they form) a contractual offer or a contract between CITB and the Employer.
