Who Should Attend?

If your certificate is due to expire, you need to conduct a 2-day refresher course to renew your qualification.

This can be taken up to 3 months before the expiry date.

Course Content:

• Health & Safety: Understand workplace safety protocols.

• Using a First Aid Kit: Learn how to effectively use a First Aid kit.

• Incident Management: Be prepared to handle emergencies confidently.

• Resuscitation (CPR): For adults.

• AED Familiarization: Gain proficiency in using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

• Recovery Position: Know how to position an unconscious person safely.

• Choking (Adult): Learn life-saving techniques for choking incidents.

• Burns & Scalds: Understand first aid for burns and scalds.

• Poisoning (including Anaphylaxis): Recognize and respond to poisoning emergencies.

• Shock Management: Learn to recognize and manage shock.

• Bleeding & Nose Bleeds: Address bleeding situations.

• Head Injuries: Learn about head injury assessment and care.

• Fractures, Sprains & Strains: Understand musculoskeletal injuries.

• Specific Medical Conditions: Heart Attack, Asthma, Diabetes and Seizures.

  • Two Days (12 hours)

   

  Assessment and Certification:

  • Assessments are conducted by qualified professionals.

  • Successful delegates receive a certification valid for three years.
